  • A middle of the pack Spenser offering.

    Not Parker's best story, but it is a good one. I have to wonder what happened to Hawk, and not having him around is a let down. The explanation, given briefly, is not all that satisfying, or that believable either. I would recommend it, with the caveat that other stories in this series are better.
