    Surprised to find this gem

    The Alamo has always been one of my very favorite movies. When it first came out on VHS and included the "Road Show" version with beginning music, intermission music, and exit music, it was just perfect. I finally wore the tape out. I figured no big deal, I'll just get the DVD. My surprise was that all the extra music was gone and so was one of the battle scenes. For many years I have tried to find a complete DVD version. Well there isn't any. It is only available on Laser Disc and this original VHS tape. I have only been able to find used tapes in less than average condition. Imagine my surprise when I came across this "factory sealed" original two tape version. It's not for everybody, because everybody does not still have a good VHS player. Happy, happy, happy.
