For some reason, it feels like there should be a ring for your index finger on the other side of the hilt. So you could spin it. Overall, i like it if you do buy one I would advise filing down the edges where your pawn goes because they are a little sharp off the factory line. The scabbard does come apart fairly quick. Also, I don't like how they call it a "machete" this is not a machete. This is what a Machete eats..
