I've had this for about a week, which has given me the opportunity to run it through its paces a bit. Overall, I am extremely impressed with this system. I first tried a Vizio M512a-H6 with my new 65" Bravia, but it had little bass and constantly unlinked from the TV, so I then looked for a system under $1000.00 with real Dolby Atmos and better bass. The reviews for the Nakamichi Soundbars were intriguing, and for a total price of around $800.00 here I coudn't be happier. Highest recommendation!

Where should I start? First this item arrived (as a refurbished unit) extremely fast! All packaging was original and except for new tape I wouldn’t have known it was ever opened. All items inside were sealed except 1 power cord (has 3) but it was wire tired and had the plastic prong guards too! Set up was a breeze (I YouTube first) and the dual subs paired first time and have not lost connection at all. No odd popping some report, remote is very nice and I notice absolutely no lag while straming

Excellent sound bar system that delivers high quality sound at a reasonable price.
This is my second sound bar -- the first being a Vizio M512a-H6, which delivered very little bass response and only average high-end response. I began searching for a sound bar system with more power and better bass response and Dolby Atmos. After reading several reviews, I decided to try to find a Nakamichi Soundwafe, and was pleased to find an Elite system that had been refurbished by the manufacturer on eBay. The refurbished Soundwafe Elite 7.2.4 system that I purchased was just a little more than the Vizio but has much more power and a *second* subwoofer and was in *perfect* condition. The sound is very clear and natural, and the bass can be quite incredible. And the Nakamichi works wonderfully with my new Sony Bravia television; the Vizio would often disconnect from the Bravia, and ... This is my second sound bar -- the first being a Vizio M512a-H6, which delivered very little bass response and only average high-end response. I began searching for a sound bar system with more power and better bass response and Dolby Atmos. After reading several reviews, I decided to try to find a Nakamichi Soundwafe, and was pleased to find an Elite system that had been refurbished by the manufacturer on eBay. The refurbished Soundwafe Elite 7.2.4 system that I purchased was just a little more than the Vizio but has much more power and a *second* subwoofer and was in *perfect* condition. And the Nakamichi works wonderfully with my new Sony Bravia television; the Vizio would often disconnect from the Bravia, and had difficulty reconnecting, but not so the Nakamichi Elite. The one complaint I have heard about Nakamichi Elkite systems is that there is a lag when one changes the function of the television, which does occur, but it is extremely mild: For example, when playing from after a pause, the video will start, but the Soundwafe will begin about three to five seconds later; really, not an issue. And the snaps and pops I read about in reviews have been resolved (at least in my system), and are not present. Truly, well worth the price! Highly recommended -- especially at the greatly reduced for the refurbished models available on eBay.

NOT a wireless system
The problem was that the description stated: "Connectivity: Bluetooth/Wireless". What it failed to mention is that the 2 rear speakers have RCA cables running to them from the Subwoofers. Not exactly wireless. In addition, the placement for the system to be optimized puts the subwoofers mid-way between your TV and seating. This means RCA cables are running around the sides of you room to the rear. Really NOT a wireless system. Funny, the picture they use to show off the system doesn't show wires running from the Subwoofer to the rear speakers??! To add insult to injury, I had to pay to return the product that they mis-represented. Not happy.The problem was that the description stated: "Connectivity: Bluetooth/Wireless". This is probably the best Soundbar Setup I have now. Comparing it to my Samsung and LG I have on other TV's. I'm not saying that it is a great ATMOS/DTS:X System, but it is acceptable. The Virtual Sound from bouncing off the Ceiling is decent but not as immersive as the having Real Speakers. I'm spoiled since I have a custom built 7.4.6-Tiered Seating Theater in a Dedicated Room. I got this so I can watch more Movies on my Primary 86" without going into the Theater. Nakamichi is truly one of the best out there. I've enjoyed this System so far and hope to have many Years of Movie Watching. Hope this helps....This is probably the best Soundbar Setup I have now. sounds amazing
I didn't want to spend this much money, but after using this system for a month, it was worth it! Sounds amazing and the bass will rattle the windows and eveything not nailed down! Was skeptical about buying refurbished, but everything looks brand new. Saved a few hunded dollars too.
