Just like the one I lost. Easy transaction with seller. I ordered this one and it came quick and well packaged. Of course I found mine the day after I ordered this one, but I'm keeping it as a spare! They work great!

  • THE WIFE--An interesting take on courage and dignity

I had seen the movie and read the script before reading the book. I enjoyed all very much. Being a writer myself, the theme was of special interest to me. The finale was a bit shocking since the wife had elected servitude and deceit in exchange for love at a time when she doubted her writing abilities and did not have any following or charisma as he did. Her submission lasted too many years when she had all the power to have changed things in a loving while professional manner. The plot revealed a flawed character who blamed her husband instead of herself for lacking courage and dignity. Ultimately, the readers will form their own opinion, as I have.
