    Another good, designed-by-Dell product!

    This item allows you to add a hard disk drive or solid-state drive in the CD drive bay of a Dell Latitude E6420 and E6430. Using a small, little, tiny, very tiny screw, the lever to pull the unit out of the laptop with can be locked down so that someone cannot walk away with your drive full of sensitive data. This is a good thing and I recommend setting it up this way. The unit accepts a 2.5" x 7mm drive to be sure since this is what I installed. It may be able to accommodate fatter drives, but I did not attempt it. Most if not all solid-state drives are 7mm and most laptop hard disk drives are 7mm these days.
