    Saved a lot of money!!!

    The local Chevy dealer wanted $650.00 to fix the problem. They intended to replace the entire door panel to restore the door handle operation and the new handle would be plastic which broke in the first place. The replacement metal door handle cost $14.81 and it took me about 45 minutes to replace. The toughest part was the installing the "C" clip. It took me about 15 minutes. The part arrived in 2 days.

    Quality ietm unlike the OEM part.

    OEM product was ALL PLASTIC. Only the spring and cable were metal. Can not believe it lasted this long. This unit is ALL METAL including the retainer pin. Should last longer then the car.

    you get what you pay for

    if your looking at this part you probably know the stock GM door handle is made of plastic and that is why it breaks this has happened to me two time now. do yourself a favour and replace the plastic handle with one of these "metal" ones they cost a bit more but if your like me and hate doing a repair over and over again you will be thankful you spent the extra money.

    Upgraded metal door handle

    Perfect fit unlike the cheap aftermarket plastic ones. This is the perfect fix for GM's poorly designed part. Don't waste your time with any of the plastic replacements. They are cast incorrectly and will not work right.

    Replacing the driver's inside door handle.

    The metal inside door handle was a very nice looking replacement. The handle installed easily. The hardest part of the process was getting the door panel off. Very pleased with the part and price.
