Nice effective upgrade.
these are nice replacements for the non bearing thrust that comes on this vintage 12" craftsman/ king sealy. One of my new bearing was defective upon arrival. I was bummed so I emailed company about 10:30pm and was prepared to hear something the next day. Nope, they responded about a half hour later and sent me another pair. That's cool thanks. after properly setting up saw these bearings are making a difference with how the saw performs. I set it up according to the video by Alex Snodgrass. after new bearings, tires, blade and general alignment this saw makes easy work of resawing a 4x4. Part is not designed for Craftsman band saw 103.24280
These are in no way a replacement for subject band saw. The longer shaft means no adjustment when running the maximum blade with of .5". The blade actually contacts the bearing at idle and the whole time the saw is running. You can see in the photo it's too long. I'm going to keep the bearings since I have a metal lathe and can turn these down in length myself. If you don't mind doing some modification to the bearings yourself or if you plan on running only a .25" blade this one can be made to work These are in no way a replacement for subject band saw. great replacement for original thrust bearings.
These bearings fit perfectly on my Craftsman 103.24280 bandsaw. I'm not sure why another reviewer was complaining that the bearings are too long, but they are able to fully seat within the housing and allow the set screw/knob screws in the base to adjust the correct depth within the housing. Actually, those adjusters are no longer required because the set screws that secured the original bearing housings can now be used to adjust the seating depth. Good quality bearings too. These bearings fit perfectly on my Craftsman 103.24280 bandsaw. I'm not sure why another reviewer was complaining that the bearings are too long, but they are able to fully seat within the housing and allow the set screw/knob screws in the base to adjust the correct depth within the housing. Actually, those adjusters are no longer required because the set screws that secured the original bearing housings can now be used to adjust the seating depth. Good quality bearings too.

Put the Saw Back on the Job
My Craftsman Band Saw Model 103.24280 was missing the Lower Blade Thrust Roller (aka Thrust Bearing) Sears Part # 18232. This is an upgrade to the original configuration. It combines the Blade Thrust Roller (18232) and the Bearing Holder (Sears Part # 41130) into a single part. This Craftsman Band Saw was made by King-Seeley and parts are not available from Sears anymore. It is, in my opinion, far superior to most Band Saws on the market today, being far more solidly built. This part restored it to function and I would recommend it without reservation.My Craftsman Band Saw Model 103.24280 was missing the Lower Blade Thrust Roller (aka Thrust Bearing) Sears Part # 18232.
