I'd have paid for just the "Knowing" movie. It turns out I did.
"Lara Croft, Tomb Raider" was medium poor, overdirected, overproduced, sketchy writing but if you try and you really have to try hard, you may get lost in the fantasy and appreciate the story, the optics and the happy ending. "Knowing" was fantastic. I think it's 1 of 2 movies Nicholas Cage didn't stink up, if you don't count Fast Times At Ridgemont High. The other was "Lord of War". Good story, well directed, for the most part (only a few nonsensical glitches), well directed and mostly well acted. Cage's best work! "Stargate, The ark of truth," was the longest 25 minutes of my life. That's as far as I got.
