    great replacement, easy, inexpensive, works like new

    my track pad on my MacBook pro died. i looked up replacement instructions online. very easy procedure. take out screws holding back on; take out screws holding old track pad. unplug pad and slide out. slide in replacement and plug in and replace screws. screw back on. works perfectly. couldn't be more satisfied. you must have the tiny phillips head and tri-head screwdrivers which i do. i bought a kit previously to work on an iPhone (battery replacement). kit has specialized drivers and various plastic pry tools. same tools worked for MacBook. so if you don't have a set of mac appropriate tools, id recommend ordering one of those too.

    Good aftermarket. Not genuine

    Trackpad works perfect, but the click button has to be pushed hard and only works if pressed in a certain location. Gets frustrating. Title of the ad says genuine, but obviously after receiving, its clearly not. Too bad

    works like a charm

    was able to replace to touchpad after original cracked and sharp edges were cutting my finger .. easy to pop out the old drop the new one in .. there is a little work to get it to stay "straight" while tightening the screws - make sure you check alignment BEFORE you screw back cover on ..

    track pad replacement

    Hello there! I recently bought a used 2010 Macbook Pro on Craigslist and the track pad had cracked due to the battery expanding. So I started looking for track pads/batteries. I looked at several replacement pads but wasn't impressed by peoples reviews. I found this one while looking on Ebay and I decided to give it a try. It took about 5 minutes to replace the track pad and battery on my Macbook Pro. I was anxious to turn it back on and see if it works.. It does! All of the 2/3 finger motions work super well and I've found no faults in using the track pad. CLicks good, zooms well, looks great and overall a great price! I highly recommend this if you have to replace your trackpad. Thanks!

    MacBook Pro Trackpad

    Very inexpensive and extremely easy to install. Saved myself quite a bit of money. Excellent quality as well. I would recommend purchasing this trackpad over going to Apple and paying $240.00 for the part and installation.
