The Optoma HD8000 is a DLP projector that was designed to provide the ultimate home theater experience. This Optoma projector has the ability to broadcast up to 720p in high definition quality on the big screen. The Optoma projector uses an HDMI input that allows the user to hook up their Blu-ray player to stream their favorite movies. The user may also hook up his or her HD ready cable box to the projector to play saved television shows through their DVR service. A person may also connect his or her computer to stream picture and video slideshows for a family reunion or party. The Optoma HD8000 is a DLP projector that boasts 1300 ANSI lumens of brightness and provides a contrast ratio of 10,000:1. This helps the projector provide clear and contrasted images on screen. This Optoma projector allows the user to project images on a screen up to 282 inches diagonally and can be placed up to 38 feet away from the actual viewing screen. This projector is portable, weighs 10 lbs, and measures 4.6 inches tall by 16 inches wide by 12.2 inches deep.
