Only change the plastic guide rod
The felt recoil increased. Stainless steel rod is great but the springs completely changed the feel of gun. The feel of the gun was negative

Installation
follow instructions closely or you will mess up, I have worked on AR's, glocks, and 1911's. But that was my first beretta and it is different. So pay close attention to the video and you will be alright installing.
