Item shipped quickly. Item was as described. The amount of material was more than enough to re-grease the entire mixer. I was able to complete my repair. Nice transaction! I would recommend this seller to anyone.

Its food safe grease for gears. Dont eat it.

I used this as the oem recommended grease when I rebuilt my kitchen aid stand mixer. I cannot say if its better then other greases other then I know it is food safe. Thick grease that sticks to the gears and other then I overloaded my mixer with bread flour it appears to have don't the job. Several years of use and the only failure is a worm gear made of brass and it is designed to fail under ridiculous load.( Kind of like a sheer pin a lawn mower)It doesn't appear to be a weak link but rather a safe way of building in a minor failure rather then have a costly major repair. DO NOT REUSE OLD GREASE as with the brass shavings it isn't going to lubricate your new worm gear properly. total cost of repair was way under 20 bucks. Cheaper then a new mixer for sure. Cant say the fix is the ...

  • Leaking Grease

I've had my KitchenAid mixer for over 20 years and about a year ago it started leaking grease. After a little research I found that by merely replacing the grease (and possibly the gasket, which I did not have to do) the problem would go away, which it did. As the blog sites and youtube videos say, the worst part is removing the old grease, but being retired, I had all the time in the world, so, Only needing 4 oz. of food grade grease is the bad part, because you can buy a whole tube (for a grease gun) cheaper than you can the small amount needed for this project, but then, what do you do with a whole tube of mixer grease if you're not a mixer repairman and if this repair lasts another 20 years then this will turn out to be a cheap fix and the grease a 'good value' ? This company / ...

  • VERY, VERY ACCURATE !!!!!!!!

I always try to buy OEM, so I took them at their word. Sure enough, it was valid. I was kinda skeptical about the " other " grease which was white, so I spent a little extra for this one. As you can see by the pics, I made a good choice. Our mixer, 600 watts is 7 years old, and never a lube job. It was starting to make a high pitch roar, so I decided to change the grease. I recorded video and sound on my cell phone before and after overhaul, wow what a difference. Process took about 6 hours, as I watched YOU TUBE video, but then again, I took all old grease out, wiped out the inside and gleaned all gears with rubbing alcohol. Looked like brand new. Also you WILL need the whole jar. I highly recommend watching the YOU TUBE video. Like I tell my kids, if your going to do something, do it ...

  • KitchenAid mixer grease

This is just the stuff to use to tune up your KA mixer. We watched a YouTube video on how to do it ourselves. Ours was leaking brown goo so I ordered this, my husband took it apart and cleaned out the runny brown goo and replaced it with this brand new grease. Works well, machine sounds better now. Works great.

  • KitchenAid Stand Mixer Grease / If a novice can change this, so can you!

I watched a video on YouTube and fixed my stand mixer. Give yourself time and follow the directions carefully, because doing things out of order won't work. But the grease was easy to change and now my mixer works as good as new!
