    The Big Train Collision That Wasn't Really Makes You Wonder

    Big time, art theft is the name of the game in this film noir melodrama. A wealthy, art museum trustee is stealing originals borrowed from a British museum and substituting almost perfect fakes. The museum curator (Pat O'Brien) seems to suspect a rat and suggests the paintings be X-rayed to make sure they are originals. The bad guys go into action to take him out of the picture. This is an excellent story with some unusual twists & turns. The action and direction keep you guessing and the final act is a surprise. I recommend this one to all fans of classic Hollywood. It's a winner.
