    The Cupola is NOT all vinyl. Mid section and roof is particleboard. Only base is vinyl. Unfortunately staples are used instead of screws also.

    We're sorry that you are disappointed with the cupola.We're sorry that you are disappointed with the cupola. The midsection (louvered section) is 100% made of the exact same cellular PVC material as is the base. If you want to prove it to yourself, you can drill into an inconspicuous portion and you will see the same white shavings that were present when cutting the base. It is true that the roof underlayment is OSB; it is used to provide structural strength for the copper on the roof.

    Perfect Look

    The cupola is more than expected, meaning of course quality. It fits my roof perfectly and looks like it was an original part of the house. For the price you cannot go wrong. I am very happy that I choose this product, and more than happy with the look. However, my roof is small, and if you have a very big house you may want to chose one of the larger models. All in all you will have to decide on size, but if done right trust that you will be happy. I highly recommend this product.
