    Great attachment for any riding mower. Easily connects to allow mulching of clippings, leaves, etc. Be sure to use mulching blades with this type of accessory.

    Craftsman mulching cover, NOT John Deere

    Although listed as a John Deere Mulching Cover, it was a Craftsman cover instead. Doesn't fit properly on John Deere deck. Price was reasonable, so I decided to keep it. Picture has delivered cover on left, an actual John Deere cover on the right.

    Second time and still good.

    I like buying the maintenance kit this way because it is cheaper then buying individual parts and still get John Deere quality. Tried others but this is the better deal in the long run. Have almost another 50 hours on mower so I will need to order again, unless I get to wait till spring before mowing again.

    Good mulch cover

    I am happy with the John Deere mulch cover for my 42 inch mower deck. It does a good job keeping most of the leaves and clippings within the deck which gives time for the mulching blades to further chop them up. It is fairly easy to install and uninstall

    Lightweight, durable, universal fit

    It is definitely a good buy. It is not a perfect fit for my Scotts riding mower which is mainly a John Deer version. However, it prevents any projectiles from shooting out along with increasing the mulching aspect of the riding mower. I did change the blades out with new ones. It is a good buy.
