    good low cost safety reader

    i haven't worn these much yet. I had some cheaper brands & they were getting broken & are currently unavailable. these have the focal strength stamped on the nose bridge,I appreciate that. my old ones have NO markings as do my other regular glass readers .time will tell how strong they are & scratch resistant. . I wear these all day @ work. most of my old ones were broken in jacket pockets

    It's a good concept, but it's a fail

    If the frames were a little better of quality and if the magnification area we're larger it may be a good idea. You just can't simply wear them and walk around the shop and only use the bifocal when you look down to read a tape measure for instance because everything else comes in and out of focus and it's just too dangerous. If you need reading glasses I suggest buy the smallest ones that you are comfortable with and purchase oversized safety glasses to where over top of them while in the shop.

    inexpensive, durable, and UVA/UVB PROTECTION

    really happy to have these- sturdy and clean up well. One hint- dishwashing soap and a sponge instead of glass cleaner works best in my opinion to keep them in good scratch free shape. I'll buy them again after I lose these 6 pair :-)
