Adapter did not seal well and leaked everywhere. Id prefer the old school method of pumping the brake pedal manually. Tons of helpful hints to seal the adapter using clamps etc. Im not looking to purchase products i need to modify to work correctly. Innovative odea, bad execution in terms of design.

I ve used another, well known brand of pressure brake bleeder and their rectangular master cylinder adapter. The Motive Products pressure bleeder and adapter are better, and at a more reasonable price. I specifically bought it for the aluminum adapter, because the plastic ones flex and won t seal, making a mess and possibly ruining paint. The Motive Products adapter sealed off 100% and I felt secure enough to walk away, to take a break, without relieving pressure. Absolutely no leaks on the bleeder unit, not a single drip. Some have mentioned using a C clamp, but I just used a couple rods in the J bolts, going under the plastic master cylinder reservoir. Though, I agree, the chains it comes with, any of the brands come with, are not very secure and it can be very trying to successfully ... If working on older, used vehicles, this bleeds brakes without having to touch the pedal, preventing the chance of disturbing the seals how they have worn in and causing mater cylinder problems and leaks. Once set up, it s an easy and thorough, one person job that drastically cuts the work time and saves the back and knees from a lot of extra unnecessary moving around. This is another of those - Should have bought it sooner , How did I live without it , tools.

Motive Products Bleeder
It is a good product. However, the attachment method (j hooks and chain) leave a bit to be desired. It would not seal on my 2 compartment master cylinder on a 1969 Cutlass. I ended up using a large C-clamp and then it sealed properly. It definitely saved a lot of time when bleeding my brakes and master cylinder but the attachment method needs upgrading.

Works like a charm
I've had my eye on one of these bleed tools for a while just didn't want to pull the trigger on purchase until I really needed it. Well a brake line in by truck blew so I decided to change all the hard lines over to stainless steel since they all looked real bad, the track is 20 years old and is still running strong I don't plan to get rid of it any time soon. Hence the stainless lines I don't want to be replacing the lines again. This tool worked awesome. The full bleed process took about 30 min. I've spent hours before doing it the old way with a helper pressing the brake while opening and closing bleeder screws. This was hands down the easiest bleed Job I've ever done. The time saved makes this tool totally worth buying. I will be looking for the adapter that will make this work on my ... I was skeptical of this, but after using it, I’m not sure how I’ve worked without it. I’ve flushed/bled two trucks already. The J-hooks and chains for the 1105 adapter are a terrible idea though, they never seal. It holds just enough for you to trust it, then brake fluid comes burping out. Two large C-clamps work like a charm, even with plastic reservoir. I’m quite happy with the power bleeder and adapter and would definitely purchase again.
