    Good seller and the shipping was stellar. First of all, I am an amateur that has fun playing with tools. I have an old Craftsman 12x36 lathe that I use occasionally make something to repair broken part. I was gifted a nice collection of 5C collets. I began researching Collet Chucks and the Bostar brand seemed to me to be possibly the best inexpensive import available. Once I finished machining it and attached it to my lathe I was amazed with the result. Runout was an astounding 0.002".

    Very satisfied with this purchase. Item arrived remarkably fast in perfect condition . This was a 5C collet chuck with 1-1/2-8 adapter. I mounted it on a Atlas/Craftsman 12” lathe. Setup was no problem. I measured .001 TIR which I think is pretty good for tooling in this price range. Thanks!!

    Nice unit for basic Atlas lathe. Adapter threads fit my spindle nice and the face was easy to machine to fit chuck. Took unit apart to check internals - looked clean but added a touch of grease to gears. Looking forward to holding stuff not easy to center in four-jaw, like threaded rod.
