This defuser did not work at first. Then I took it out, let it fully dry out, hooked it to my highest pressure pump, it finally started pushing air through it. Then I connected it DRY to the Co2 hose, stuck it in the tank that way and it worked when the pressure built up... If your having issues with yours, take it out let it fully dry, hook it to a PUMP dry, if it pumps air, then keep it outta the water, hook to the Co2 THEN put it in the water, hope this helps with yours to.. Great product!!!
