Xentec quality is now subpar from previous products the method of obtaining high and low is not a wattage change per se but a driver motor to extend/retract filament in bore.
Seller is great but buyer be warned if you do not have sufficient clearance for the bulb to extend retract in its housing do not install or purchase this product.
