While looking around for a decent AXA 250-111 wedge type quick change tool post and holder set I noticed most available sets here were almost identical and just of average Chinese build quality, even though pricing could easily vary quite a bit....that is until I came across this Bostar set. It was clear the fit and finish of these were of much higher standards...and the price was actually on the lower side of the scale, and they even have a large distributor in Chicago. I received it where the handle was in the wrong position. All it took was to unwind it all the way and choose a different thread start. A little bit of machining and it works great. Probably will make a handle for the top nut and would say am very happy with it function.

OK bostarprecisiontools is the real deal. I had questions about the application and they suggested a different model so I ordered and what this one and it fit my 1943 LeBlond 13 perfectly. I had questions about the threading on the tool post and once again they knew what it was! Bottom line, they know the details of what they sell and they respond quickly and correctly. I could not be more pleased. As for the product itself, it is very high quality and precise. First test cuts is attached.
