      Battery fit with some work then failed due to design flaw

      The covering sides are bent upward and made the battery too wide, I had to fold them the opposite direction to get it to fit. The wires are fatter than the originals and on the same side of the battery, (original has opposite solder points). I had a hard time getting the wires tucked enough to get the screen to seat properly. The wires were NOT under the battery. So I tested charging with the screen on but unseated and it did not fully charge. The plug icon never appeared, it stayed on the lightning bolt for over 24 hours. Then I went ahead and tried again to maneuver the wires into their proper crevice and the positive wire popped off the battery’s solder point (not the board). I got it soldered back onto the board and then one of the tabs from the battery snapped as I was trying to get ...
