An awesome TMNT metroidvania
TMNT Danger of the Ooze is an open-world "metroidvania" title, with a large, persistent world to explore. It looks decent. The game is presented in a side-scrolling 2.5D perspective using both, polygonal characters and backgrounds. The world and characters are very colorful and quite pleasant too look at. The music ranges from pretty forgettable to fantastic, featuring remixed versions of tracks from TMNT games past. Most story events of the game are voiced by the original cast of the 2012 show. Enjoyment of said story events will entirely depend on whether you are a fan of the show or not. Lastly, despite having the cutified 2012 turtles on the cover, this game is as oldschool in its difficulty as the 1989 NES original.
