    10% INDICATOR is fine

    Looks like they reduced production cost by loading the can with 10% indicator beads and 90% white/clear non-indicating (which is inherently cheaper). On the + side, it should adsorb H2O just as effectively and the sparse indicator should be perfectly noticeable, especially thru the extra-large window. They ARE well made and good value... so they passed the saving onto us. This is also a nice size between the GIANT 700gm ones and the ubiquitous tiny ones.

    Great High Capacity, Reusable Dehumidifier

    I use this dehumidifier in a safe that although closed and locked virtually all of the time, still shows humidity levels above 50%. This dehumidifier can be recharged by placing the entire item in an oven, per the instructions on the bottom of the container. The colored beads indicate when it needs recharging, and I will probably need to recharge it every two weeks or so, but it should last years.

    Just what I needed.

    I bought this to sit inside the head of an amplifier I bought in the early '70s. The last thing I can afford is to get it (the head) out of storage and have moisture in the circuits when I turn on the power. The Dry-Pack came well packaged and ready to use. It fits perfectly will do its job for quite a while before I need to recharge the silica gel.
