Really sucks (out the humidity and bathroom odors).
Great replacement for my original motor which finally bit the dust after 20 years -- much quieter and the installation was easy. There are lots of YouTube videos that show the procedure, but basically you remove the old assembly from the ceiling, in it's fan housing, and unplug it from the receptacle in the ceiling. Then remove the motor assembly and mounting plate by removing 3 screws, slip in the new motor assembly (already attached to mounting plate), attach with the 3 screws, and you're done. The only minor glitch was that the screw hole for the ground wire on the new mounting plate was larger than the one on the old plate -- if that is the case for you as well, just get a larger screw.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It's worth the cost for the OEM replacement.
I've had the same bathroom fan fixture for 20 years, and am on my fourth motor. The last two I bought aftermarket motors and they didn't last. This time I decided to spend more to get the OEM Nutone replacement and could tell out of the box that this motor is built much better than the aftermarket version.
