There is some cosmetic wear and tear (as noted in item description) but it does not affect the usability of the computer. From a distance it looks great, and I plan on buffing out some of the scratches to hopefully get it looking new. Came with High Sierra working great, but I installed Ubuntu which is also working just as expected. It works beautifully for such an old computer. Very happy!
