Chicago Blues at it's finest
Paul Butterfield's harmonics and vocals are the best. What a great find this was...takes me back to the early 70's when I was a kid, my dad used to play this album but it's so much better now. Sper-Duper Butterfield
Butterfield only went on to greater things from this initial record that he released. The high point however was the fabulous guitar work of Mike Bloomfield who would become the ace-runner-up to Eric Clapton. His solo on East-West here is one of the top 20 guitar solo's of rock or blues. Each member of this band is exemplerary. This is one of the 20 CD's that I will insist be thrown into my casket.
