Best fencing product...look no further!
We spent hours looking for a product that would multitask as a wireless fence AND training system- and we finally found it! It works great & our Lab responds so well to it. No more chasing cars or trouble at the neighbors. My only advise would be to get rechargeable batteries for the handheld (wish it had a charger as well!) otherwise they last about 4/5days with Duracell. I like that you can take it Anywhere
This unit is completely wireless and it has a remote control. I have had several electric fences for our different dogs over 25 years, I wish they had this years ago!! I love it! I like the "talk" feature, I never have to shock my dogs, which the other fences do.... I either press the beep button or just talk and tell them to come back. Great Product!
This is our second travel fence. We bought the second not because there was anything wrong with the first one but we needed an extra collar and trainer so it was just cheaper to buy the whole unit. Plus I will have a back up now if needed. Works great on both our dogs and the training was very easy. We have one very smart dog and one that's well, a little dingy, but both were able to grasp the concept with ease. I am so impressed, the bad behavior is gone!
From the first use, I have seen significant improvement. The "bad" behavior, for which this system was needed, has diminished substantially in only a few uses. The adjustable "fence" has flexibility and the tone gets my pet's attention right away. The speed with which my pet modified his own behavoir is amazing. He now exhibits his desire to stay close to me, even while other activities are going on. I really can't put into words just how well this product worked in our case. I saw the problems as unsolvable, but felt a product of this caliber might be the change we were looking for, at least to limit the instances of wandering away. We will continue to use this product, though now in specific scenarios. This product worked so well, it has changed the very thought processes that were becoming problematic. Listen to the reviews... I wish I had
For whatever reason the range on the collars is terrible. Basically any obstacle between the base and the collar (include a slight slope) created a dramatic inconsistency in the range.
