Benchmade 940-1 Osbourne
The Benchmade Osborne is a great pocket knife by design. The 940-1 version takes it a step further with carbon fiber scales and S90 steel. With carbon fiber scales you don't need to worry about your car keys and knife being in the same pocket. The Osborne shaped blade is kind of long so this isn't the kind of knife you whip out in public to clean your finger nails, but the length has its purpose when cutting though stuff because it keeps your hands away from the material being cut.... plus the S90 steel pretty much cuts through anything. The knife is pricey but your paying for the harder steel.... which also means it'll take longer to sharpen. Look for the best price you can but you won't be sorry you bought this knife. Best Knife hands down
Great Knife is all I can say. I have had lots and lots of different brands and final got a Benchmade 940 and I wish I would have gotten it years ago. Thin, lite, strong,
The knife is classic benchmade quality. They stand behind their knives. After receiving it, I contacted bennchmade and asked for a deep pocket carry clip ($25) and they sent it free of charge. After caring the knife for a couple weeks I herd a jingling sound in my pocket. I thought it was the clip but soon discovered it was the blade. The main blade screw was very loose. I tightened it yesterday. I will see what happens from here. If it self-loosens agin I will contact benchmade. Benchmade carbon Osborne sets the EDC standard
This knife, when I got it immediately set the standard by which I will now judge other Everyday-Carry by. It's light, feels like butter in my hands, and is thin❗️👌 The first rule of a knife is: it's suppose to cut..a fat blade get won't cut ultra sharp for long as it gets further up its edge. A high quality low profile pocket carry knife
The blade maintains its edge well though the edge finish is not as refined as the better grades of Benchmade, the factory edge is a bit rough. This is a small profile working knife. Light weight.
