    Unfortunately this transaction was bad enough to warrant negative feedback. They were more concerned about a payment than providing actual value. They asked to make a payment within ~hour of accepting my offer through one of my own listings, but they never responded to my messages regarding the delayed shipment / status. The item was listed as "perfect" but what I received was defective and not working. The packaging was barely adequate. I was at least able to return the item for a refund.

    Old School, great sound! CD library secure!

    I bought this unit to play CDs that I have collected. The sound is great for the size of the unit! I have seen to many computers crash and lose data to rely on downloaded tunes for a music library. I have ripped the CDs to a Western Digital external drive, but still want the security of the physical CDs saved against the possibility of a computer crash losing the entire collection. This old school player is well built, and the Bose name is renowned for sound quality in a small packege. I like it. I can take it to the garage if I'm working out there, or even the beach if you bring a power source like a Goal Zero "solar generator".

    The Bose Acoustic Wave Radio CD-3000, gone before its time.

    PROS: Awesome product from BOSE. I own the original cassette model which still works like it's brand new. Love the built in CD player. I personally think that BOSE prematurely discontinued the Acoustic Wave Radio CD-3000 without making serious upgrades, such as Bluetooth capability, wifi, etc. Was one of the highest rated new products on the market. Thank you Dr. BOSE CONS: Prematurely discontinued in my opinion. Should have been upgraded to the new technology that is available now. CONCLUSION: If you didn't buy the Acoustic Wave Radio CD-3000 or its previous models, BUY ONE, you won't regret spending the money. Dr. BOSE created an awesome product that has stood the test of time.

    A great but-this "older" BOSE system works great!

    I purchased this BOSE system used. It works perfectly; the sound is great. I did have a later model which didn't last unfortunately -the CD's get stuck in it and cannot be extracted. This older model has the CD compartment totally exposed -easy to put in and take out. Improvement is not always better!

    Awesome Sound!

    WOW! I did not realize how incredible this would sound and am totally blown away. I went from never listening to my stereo system (in a room a don't much use) to listening to the BOSE everyday, as you can hear it from every room in my home. Crystal clear sound, I've been dancing around in my underwear since it arrived. It doesn't get much better than that!
