    I'd get the edition with the photographs if I had it to do over, . . .

    . . . but either way, this is one of the most solid, believable translations available. They're not trying to be authentic to the point of making it obscure and unreadable and they're not pandering to the artsy-fartsy PC new age crowd, either. Just understandable and readable. Recommended.
