ICOM made a very solid product with this simple tranceiver.
This radio is not better then expected! I know the radio well, had two of them before. This is a lower class radio, it is not bad in any sence still not the top of the line. It just works and does that well. If you are looking for a cheap radio this is it, but do not pay too much, the IC-7300 i coming down in price and is way better. Together with the AT-160 the IC-728 will tune nearly any antenna. As I live in Norway I had to pay way too much due to locat VAT and expensive postage, but of nostalgic reasons I just wanted it and they are rare now a days.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
