This Juki Mechanical machine features an automatic rolled hemming, which makes it easy to hem without changing the foot or plate with its built-in finger tip control. The easy dial knife adjustment of this Juki sewing machine makes the upper knife completely self-adjusting for your convenience. The multi-purpose foot of the Juki MO-644D comes with a slotted tape guide, which makes it easy to sew woven tape, elastic, sequins and ribbons. You can easily adjust the stitch length of this Juki Mechanical machine by simply turning the knob inside the machine. The 1-rotation thread tension dials with normal tensions of this Juki sewing machine works best for simple, consistent tension adjustment.

    Sturdy

    I bought this serger based on all I've read. On reviews. I haven't had the chance to use it much but the self threading comes with the juki 754d pearl which is a more expensive machine. The dials on the pearl are all located on right of machine. Some on this are on left and the cover has to be opened. That being said I like the feel of this machine and it isn't as noisy as my singer profinish. It is compact and it opens up so that you can pass the looper threader from side to side to thread the lower looper I like the ease of using the rolled hem on this machine. I don't have to remove anything but the left needle. It doesn't feel cheep and is metal. As with all sergers it takes a bit of practice and patience. I got a brother 1034 that supposedly has a high rating and returned it. It ...

    Best serger I've ever owned.

    This serger is fast! I have an garment design and alterations business and use sewing machines and sergers every day. I use Juki sewing machines as well and have loved using Juki products for many years. They are very reliable, durable, fast, and long lasting. One advantage this serger has over others I've used is the color coded threading system. Each thread is fed through it's own color coded route. I like that the covers move out of the way so I can get my fingers inside to thread it. It doesn't seem easy to thread at first, but once you understand how to thread it you can do it in just a few minutes. If you are not experienced with sergers, this serger might be to fast for you.
