      You Can't Go Wrong with Norelco Jet Clean

      I have always shaved with Norelco shavers ever since my grandfather gave me one when if was a senior in high school. Instead of using the shaver cleaner sold by Norelco, I use a small plastic bowl with a screw-on top and keep it filled to within a half inch from the top with the Norelco Jet Clean solution. After I shave I pop open the shaver and run water over the underside of the blades and the area where the cut whiskers fall into. Then just briefly dab the interior and the top of the blades with a towel. After that I turn on the shaver and dip it in and out of the Jet Clean solution three or four times then rinse the shaver thoroughly under water (doesn't matter if the water is cold or hot).       Buyer's remorse

      I'm embarrassed to write this review but it may prevent someone else from purchasing this product. Yes, I went with the lowest bidder for this product & got exactly my monies worth. I placed these new blades in my shaver and proceeded to get the worst shave from an electric shaver in my entire life. Blades seemed to fit fine but made an unusual noise and the shave took twice as long as usual. The new blades performed worse than my one year old blades.

      Might be somewhat gimmicky

      The jet clean system appears to be a good idea although I have my suspicions it is a device designed to sell pricy solution. Three bottles cost $20 and I went through a lot. The system has sensors that indicate "Low Level Fluid". The system repeatedly refused to go into the wash cycle and flashed the low fluid indicator even though the fluid level was full. I think the sensors gum up after the fluid gets a little old or the foamy top layer of the solution in the tank keeps the system from working and wants new fresh solution frequently. I have had three of these units fail and finally gave up and went to a regular stand charger.

      How to keep Norelco razors clear

      I've used this product for several years, with two different Norelco razors, in conjunction with the associated cleaning systems. It's a good product, used monthly, but can be expensive if not purchased in bulk.
