Clad in his costume from "Age of Apocalypse," the Toy Biz Marvel Legends "Age of Apocalypse" Sabretooth figure offers a new take on a classic villain. In an alternate Marvel universe, Apocalypse has seized control of the world. Sabretooth, sporting a design by famous artist Joe Madureira, is one of his trusted allies. However, when Sabretooth has had enough killing, he betrays Apocalypse and joins the X-Men. This original Marvel Legends figure represents the look this character had while fighting on the side of the good guys. This Marvel Legends Series version of Sabretooth features over 30 points of articulation to make play and display more exciting. This includes the character's ankles, torso, head, and fingers. Even the ponytail on this character features a single joint inside of it. These movable parts let you pull off a variety of poses. For example, you can pose this figure in a crouching position with his fingers ready to claw his opponents. You could also pose him looking up at a taller foe with his hands balled into fists. The jointed ponytail lets you pose this Marvel toy in an action pose with his hair flying in the wind. The only limit to the poses you can achieve with this Marvel figure is your imagination. The character's signature ferocity is on full display thanks to his detailed sculpted face. This face was crafted by Dave Cortes, one of the leading sculptors for this series of toys. This action figure features a grimace on his face, and his mouth is open to reveal rows of pointy teeth. This Marvel Legends Sabretooth is dressed in a sleek costume that is accentuated by the paint wash used on the figure. The costume on this action figure is accurate to his look in the series of Marvel "Age of Apocalypse" comic books. His muscles bulge against his skin, and the veins are sculpted in appropriate locations. The sculpted fabric features ridges and folds, looking just like actual fabric. The sculpted elements on his neck and wrist include pitted elements to simulate metal. All of the costume elements were designed in conjunction with the articulation. Nothing on the costume hinders articulation in any way. This action figure originally came packaged with two accessories. The first accessory is one piece of the Giant-Man's left foot. Collect the other nine action figures in this series to complete the Marvel Legends Giant-Man. Each of the Marvel toys in this series comes with a single piece of the Giant-Man action figure. This character is one of the tallest Toy Biz Marvel Legends series figures, standing more than a foot tall. Sabretooth's other accessory is a comic book, a copy of "Astonishing X-Men number 2." This Marvel book has a special focus on Sabretooth. No Marvel Legends series collection of figures is complete without this great "Age of Apocalypse" character.
