Could Be Better
Product received in a timely manner. I'm slightly disappointed with this item. With the jaws closed and the dial zeroed; then taking a 1" and a 2", reference standards. This measures them both at a full .0005 over. At least it's consistent, you can assume it's 'plus' across the entire length. But for the reputation Tesa has, I expected it to be dead on. My Mitutoyo Digi-Matic caliper and micrometer, each, measures these standards exactly at 1.0000 and 2.0000. obviously Hexagon quality isn't what it used to be.

Smooth as silk
This vintage B&S Swiss made caliper is as smooth as my brand new Mitutoyo Absolute Digimatic caliper. If you don't have one, get one while you can.
