Great buy for a excellent budget sound bar
Great buy for $100 for the refurb sound bar. I purchased two and both arrived in like new condition with all of the normal parts and documentation and include a 1 year warranty. In terms of sound quality this is almost certainly the best buy on a sound bar for less than $200. However, if you want some real bass then you may want to added a powered subwoofer. Key features for me were support for ARC and CEC since these allow the sound bar to be automatically powered on and off when the connected TV is turned on and off (the CEC or link feature) and also to provide the highest quality sound when using the TV's built-in streaming apps (the ARC, audio return channel via HDMI)..Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

To Good to Pass Up
The ATS-1070 (R) is a great value at the normal price but at the discounted price for the refurbished one I couldn't pass it up and even bought another for my son. I couldn't find any flaws in either one and they sound great. This is really the same model as the Yamaha YAS-107 and they come with the updated firmware already installed. I think it looks better than the 2018 ATS-1080 and because it's 1/8" lower than that model it fits perfectly under the lower edge of my TV. Easy to setup, ARC works perfectly with HDMI cables and the app for it is pretty good too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Is this the best sound system that you can get for your entertainment center? Obviously not. However, if you want a great bargain that still delivers excellent sound quality, then this is for you. Excellent sound for a bar!
This is our second Yamaha sound bar. We still have and use our first in the master bedroom. Yamaha sound is fab. Always. I hung this one in spare bedroom on the wall under a 42" Vizio LED TV. No studs in the right place so I had to use plastic anchors with 2 screws in the wallboard. It's light, so no worries. The improvement in sound is huge! Incredible value and amazing sound. "Reconditioned" in this case means as good as new. My Samsung dumb TV HDMI input only receives the video signal (no sound) from sound bar's HDMI ARC output, which is no issue as the sound from the sound bar is a thousand times better than the TV sound. Puts the boom in bass!
This little sound bar has incredible bass and sound quality. Made our tv sound like a theatre and even better when you use the Bluetooth to stream music. Easy to set up and use.
