So far so good
I took a chance on buying a brand I never heard of before. As far as reliability goes or life expectancy, I am not sure. I have had this drive almost for 30 days running 24 hours a day in a security recorder and no problems as of yet. The WL (White Label brand) drive runs cooler than the standard brand drives that I have, like Toshiba and Western Digital. The WL brand runs warm to the touch while WD runs hot. I am amazed how small this 4Tb drive is to the brands I just mentioned. For the price of this drive, I had to take a chance. I just wish this brand had even bigger sizes but it is a good upgrade from my 2TB drives. The big plus is, when I installed the WL drive, it worked properly after setting the proper running mode. Notes The first time I installed it, I had to format it in GBT not MBR. MBR only gives you 2TB plus a little extra where the GBT gives you the full 4TB. I say that so you can be a where of that before buying.

Great Drive for the price
When they say "White Label" they mean it, I have no idea who makes these drives. I can't tell you how reliable they are because I haven't owned them long enough yet, I can tell you they are fast and surprisingly quiet for enterprise drives. I bought four and am using them both internally, and externally in a toaster dock for backups I can take off line. All four drives received work fine in that regard. I'm planning to buy another four next month and upgrade the 2TB drives in my other workstation. They do have to be formatted before use, they come with directions to do that. I did find that I could not boot my Dell workstation with an unformatted drive in it, it hangs. I had to put them in the toaster and start it up after the machine booted. this 4TB drive seems too good to be real
The price was lower than I thought I would be. It took a little time to format but was easy enough. I'm using this drive to back up two computers with two terabyte drives. So far I am well satisfied. I didn't rate the reliable box because i've only been using this drive for a few days. Time will tell
