    Ah Music Via Musicom

    Ran into this, Eric Johnson CD, "Ah Via Musicom ", some years back and would have passed it undue to the kinda lame booklet cover. Fortunately the Record Store ( Thankfully some still exist !) had a player and so l threw on and gave it a listen. Pleasantly surprised by the well conceived music and the sultry lyrics l gladly packed this CD home and promptly gave it a second listen. Kind of like,a melanxgoly, ethereal Rock sound on par with Joe Satriani. Both being members of the New School of Guitarists who can make their instrument sing ( possibly more than any number of vocalists could. GET IT.

    One of my all time very favorite cds! Had one already for many years! This is a back up I love it so much! Plus I play some of his stuff as a life time guitarist.

    Love his style

    To be honest, I've never heard of Eric Johnson till I saw him in an interview with Joe Bonamasa (sp). So I ordered this cd and I'm glad I did. I ordered 2 more after this one. I like him. I like his style. A little "calmer" than Steven Ray Vaughn and Eric Claptton.
