    Buy more than 1 at a time

    Good little motor for entry level bashing. Came in my kids 2wd slash. Went through 5 motors in 3-4 months. We bash together and as often as possible. Dropped a brush on 2 of them (no response when pulling throttle trigger, only goes when push started) and others developed too much play in shaft that pinion gear attaches to. This caused motor to lock up. Buy more that 1 at a time to save on shipping. These motors will break. Save up and go with Velineon 3500 brushless motor and vxl-3 ESC. No more breakdowns and hauling a**!

    Best brushed motor I have found

    I have tried several different brands of 550 motors and this one is the best Traxxas is a bad company but you can’t beat these motors I have seen 100.00 brushed motors and would never pay that much just for a brushed motor but I do wonder how it compares to this

    Great Motors!

    Like any hobby there's allot of opinions and allot of people who aren't mechanically inclined or don't understand that a hobby grade RC needs maintenance. Those people are the ones who always blame the equipment and not themselves 🤷🏻‍♂️. It can't be helped. I've been in this hobby for over 25 years. I used to race when I was younger and back then when people were still running brushed motors before brushless became the norm, you'd be lucky to get 20 races out of a motor before it would need a rebuild. But skip ahead to today and you now have larger 550 sized, fan cooled Brushed motors that will last for several hundred runs before needing to be replaced! The Titan in my Bandit and Slash have been absolutely amazing in terms of overall lifespan, torque and speed. They're just good fun ...

    Traxxis Motor

    A solid time tested motor for remote control toys. The one design fault is that it has a tendency to get really hot when used continuously. Could use a good heat sink!
