For Blood Sugar
When i first started taking Berberine I was already on one medication for my diabetes. For many years, the diabetes was easily managed. Suddenly, it started skyrocketing for no reason I could tell. The doctor was telling me he was going to add a second medication. No thanks. I didn't want it, but to be cautious I started recording my sugar readings more faithfully. I recognized I needed something more effective. For once, the doc was right. So I started taking this berberine. The first thing I noticed is that it certainly works in respect to lowering my numbers. But for me, it was short lived. One a day is not enough. So I am going to start taking them twice daily. I'm still in the experimenting stage with this, but I think this one is a keeper. Time will only tell if twice daily will be ... I have non-insulin dependent, Type 2 diabetes. My numbers are ok, but my A1C keeps disappointing my doctor. I'm watching my diet and take Metformin three times a day. I wanted something to bring my blood glucose and A1C numbers down further. From what I can see, THIS AIN'T IT. Taken in combination with my Metformin, I've burned through nearly an entire bottle of this stuff and have registered NO APPRECIABLE CHANGE. Works for me.
My sugar is just creeping anove 100. 110-118 fasting. When I use this I seem to be a little calmer and relaxed. Don't know what my level is taking it but it definitely has a impact on how I feel. Just one a day with breakfast when I eat the most carbs.
