Synopsis
Portable buildings have been in use since ancient times but only recently have their architectural qualities been appreciated. In many cases the mobile element of the building solution has not only been the driving force in the creation of the form and image, but also the main reason for the design's functional success. This book examines the development of portable architecture by the examination of, mainly, contemporary built examples and explores the constructional and functional diversity of the type. Topical Part of New Technology Series Considerable research and development in this area

CD was shipped quickly and very well packed, and seller's communication was prompt and friendly. CD was described as "new," but was actually "like new," since there was no factory wrapping and the case was scratched with a bit of wear and tear. However, the disc and inserts were mint/like new, which is all that matters to me.

Item was listed as NEW but arrived in a smashed jewelcase (which fell apart) and more importantly, not factory-sealed. The seller contacted me immediately after purchase to say that it was not factory-sealed, asking "if that was OK." This is tantamount to an admission--without being explicit--that the listing as NEW was fraudulent. When I contacted seller after receiving the item, the seller said that I could return it (presumably at my own expense). This is simply unacceptable.
