    A collection of some of Errol Flynn's best work, and a Flynn bio to go with it. That's what makes this collection a worthwhile addition to your home video movie collection. The charismatic Flynn plays well w the seductive and charming Olivia de Havilland, three times, w the two-time Academy Award winning Bette Davis in a May-November romance, and w the alluring Brenda Marshall in an action-adventure sea-going tryst, bringing about some of their best work, and some very engaging films from the 30s and 40s as a result. Action, adventure, romance, hearts to win, evil-doers to overcome, all the reasons we go to see the movies, are here in this collection. Binge watching or one at a time, This is movie-viewing at its best. Enjoy.

    Why pay $15,000 dollars for cable every ten years?

    I have been interested in classic films for years. I have found that, rather than paying a cable bill of $120 or more a month to be ridiculous, especially when there are only one or two channels I would watch. So, several years ago, I did the math......One month of cable is $120, one years of cable is $1440.00 and ten years of cable is $14,400.00. With only a couple channels I will watch, and then still have to deal with commercials and cable channel self promo commercials, I decided I would be happier just taking that monthly expenditure and start buying DVDs of TV shows and movies that I like. Then, at the end of ten years, I should likely have a vast collection of film and video that I like all of, and never have to see another commercial again.

    Great set of Flynn films

    I purchased this used. It is a little beat up but the price more than compensated for the worn outer case. The films are all in good condition. The set is vol 1 of a 2 volume set of Errol Flynn's films. This volume does have a documentary of Flynn's life that is excellent. Flynn was a much better actor than he was thought of in his time. It is only long after his death that he has become recognized for his talent. Let's face it, who else looks good in tights and can say "What Ho, MY Hearties, and stuff like that without looking ridiculous.
