    The set was largely as described, but had many small flaws. Approximately six 1x1 bricks with headlights and one 2x12 flat brown brick were broken; one of the Minifigs had significant wear. The bricks stuck in a way that made we wonder if they had been exposed to excess humidity. In particular, the battering ram sticks and doesn’t swing back once pushed forward. Other parts move well. Instructions were initially left out of package, but quickly mailed by seller.

    Good build for younger kids

    I built this with my 6 year old daughter. It was a fun build. The castle is pretty easy to build so not much of a challenge and great for a beginner builder. There are a lot of other smaller pieces though (e.g., the clock) that are a bit tougher but small enough that your little one won’t lose interest in trying it, so overall this set has a good combo of easy and more challenging builds. Definitely more appropriate for younger kids (ages 6-10) than older kids (11-12).

    Impressive details and surprisingly lightweight!

    While the box seems small at first, there is an AMAZING Disney Castle contained inside! The details that impressed us were that the faces of all the animated character objects actually swivel freely all the way around, which delighted my daughter and add to the chaotic fun of so many movie scene recreations of "defending the castle!" Another great detail was the "magical rose" complete with a clear cloche to protect it and everything. We are very pleased.
