    LG840g Tracfone: Great little phone for the money

    The Tracfone LG840g phone is considered a "dumb" phone as it lacks smart phone attributes. However, it is a great little phone for anyone wanting to save money & still have a phone with many features of a smart phone. The 3.5 inch screen is easy to see, it has a sturdy case and is easy to hold onto. Comes with Bluetooth & WiFi capabilities. Battery life is good & easily & quickly recharges. The only bad thing about this phone is that you cannot move your SIM card from one phone to another when you upgrade or even if you are trying to move it to another phone of the same make & model. Tracfone codes it's SIM card with the particular phone's Serial Number so that it is incompatible with another phone. A new SIM card must be purchased & any info on your existing SIM is lost.

    Exactly what it is.

    This phone is solid. Easy to activate & battery lasts forever. The texting is a bit of a nuisance at times, given the keypad is sideways (meaning you have to turn the phone) but otherwise no real technical flaws. Size is perfect. Def smaller & less clumsy than an Iphone, but big enough to hold onto & feel in your pocket. Satisfied customer.

    I bought it for parts

    The screen changed out relatively easy. I rejuvenated my old phone with a cracked screen and got a new battery with extra parts all for less than $30.00. I am happy I saved all my data!

    My LG 840g TracFone is great...

    I am glad I saw her with a video using it. That is what really made up my mind to get it. I am very pleased with it. It is everything she said. I do not use it for internet use. I only do that at home. Just general usage for communication and pictures. I really do not know what small form factor is, except memory?

    Lightweight with great features

    The phone is great for the price. You can have unlimited text and call for only 35 dollars it is amazing. If you get on the internet alot then this may not be the phone for you because of the speed of service and space on the phone.
