    Fantastic Camera

    Camera is light, easy to use and takes fantastic photos when proper settings are used. There is very little difference in image quality from the D3100 to Nikons more expensive cameras. More pixels don't make better photos. The D3100 is a great all around camera and better than any point and shoot or cellphone camera

    Great Camera!

    Love this camera! Shoots clear and crisp. I mostly use manual mode (M) or Program (P), but it is very nice to have to option to switch to Automatic for quick shots where you don't have time to adjust settings and just need a decent shot. I do wish this camera had a microphone in (audio in) port. I am happy with this camera.

    Good value

    The only real issue with the camera which for most of us is not an issue at all is its age. With good lenses it will take good pictures for a long, long time. It is not longer on the leading edge of technology. For pennies on the dollar for the same camera I purchased years ago, I was able to stay within my budget and give my Grand daughter the type of camera she desired. It was a good deal for everyone. I am sure she will sooner or later purchase a much better lens. The camera was what it was said to be....thumbs up.
