    good item and feature

    Had my contractor to replace the one i've had in my shower room for 8 years. The old one didn't do a good job on sending out hot water comparing to the first 2 years when we installed it. AFter we installed this Pfister 9743210, not only the water pressure generates more cold/hot water, but also makes the shower knob work better. Spending under $30 to fix the problem, I was a bit nervous at the beginning. I watched youtube video and learn how to replace the pressure valve, this saves me a lot of time and money. It is an easy job to replace it and save around $200 to call a plumber

    Brittle plastic breaks too easy.

    I run a small hotel and the showers in our room require this exact pressure cartridge. There is no alternative. With just 6 rooms operating for about a year and a half, I have had to replace about 10 of these because they break so often. The little plastic wings are used as leverage to turn the shower to hot and cold. The issue is that these wings are so brittle and break so easily. Once they are broken it could cause a host of issues, including the shower not being able to be turned off, the faucet handle spinning, or temperature setting getting messed up. If you have and alternative option to using this part, I strongly suggest it. Or maybe pfister could start making the wings out of a more durable material.
