      Tightest bead I've ever seen

      Not a bad looking tire otherwise, but trying to mount the first one- I've found this to be the tightest wire bead I've ever seen for a new tire. I've been around bikes for a lifetime, I've changed tires for 50 years now, and worked several times as a bike mechanic. I'm aghast at the wrestling match I had with this tire on a narrow (inner 18-19 or so ) 700 rim. AND I pinched the stupid tube to leak then with the tire irons I finally had to take a stance of trying to stretching the wire bead instead of aiming at mounting the tire, and it was another wrestling match to get the stupid thing off- Full tire iron battle- I usually may use one minimally and it's normally no problem. I'm out of spare tubes for now then and a back one to still mount eventually I'm NOT looking forward too, and ...

      A Good Tire For The Price

      This a a good tire for the price. It's not perfect, and I have a a couple of flats, but for the money is does a great job and there's a color to match just about any road bike.
