    Solar-powered Ultrasonic Pest Chaser needs no electricity or batteries. It comes with a metal stake which easily presses into the ground and supports the main body, which is low-profile and, if strategically situated, barely noticeable in the yard. It emits a pale blue light when it's activated by movement. About 15 feet away and aimed at my garden, it seems to be keeping away the deer and rabbits, which were eating the leaves off everything I'd planted. Good product.

    Yard guard does not seem to work

    Not sure if the device affects the cats - they do not seem to mind it at all. The dog next door still poops on my lawn, so it doesn't bother him (approx 30 feet away coverage). Whether it will be effective over time, I do not know. Therefore a lukewarm review - not effective in the short term (3 weeks). This review page should have more choices than just yes or no - kind of a lazy form.

    It actually works!

    I live on the edge of a wilderness area, with lots of rats in my back yard. This Ultrasonic Repeller is frequency adjustable to match what critters you want to target. My neighbors tree has small edible berries that fall on my side patio, and every morning there are 20-30+ devoured berry remains for me to clean up. I set the "Repeller" on the appropriate setting, and voila, no more berry left overs to clean up! There haven't been any berries to clean ever since. Not one! This product actually works! As a side note, I left the Ultrasonic Repeller off one night just to see if the rats had moved on. Nope, the next morning there were pieces of eaten berries everywhere!

    Somehow usable device

    I put that device to get rid off some squirrels from my garden. They were stealing tomatoes and I was watching them while they were doing it. I do not like to kill and I purchased this device. At the beginning it worked, but next day squirrel cam five feet in front of this, and it was eating my tomato. I kept adjusting different frequencies, as recommended, but squirrels apparently ignored it, and kept doing their "business." The BB gun will work the best, but I do not like to kill poor animals. Season is over, and I put this device in the big sandwich bag and I will try to use it next time.

    Groundhogs

    I had a groundhogs under my trailer and I placed the Bird -X under it and I haven't seem the groundhog since. I highly recommend it if you have any kind of pests you want to get rid of.
